Healthy volunteers play an important role in studies as they help researchers better understand health conditions, because their information can be compared with people who have a specific disease or condition.

Healthy volunteers are people who do not have any diseases or conditions relevant to the research.

Single Blood Test

The study aims to assess how gut hormones levels vary in human health and disease. The aim is that results from this will aid in development of treatments and diagnostic tests for metabolic and gastrointestinal diseases.

Heron Study

The study is interested in finding out how the body adapts to overeating. How quickly do our hormones change ? Can the brain detect the amount of fat in the diet ?

We are asking volunteers to overeat by a certain amount (similar to the amount you eat over the Christmas holidays).

TRE Study

Time-restricted eating (TRE) is a nutrition and lifestyle approach in which people eat all their food for the day during a 6-10-hour window and without eating any other food or beverage that contains calories for the rest of the day.
